What is Slother?
Slother is an app in development for finding hard-to-get online bookings. You choose the booking type, dates, locations and budget. A Watch is designed to monitor supported sources and tell you when a slot fits, with optional booking only where supported and with your permission.
What will I be able to book?
We are exploring restaurants and fine dining, hotels and campsites, spas, beauty appointments, sports courts and classes, tours and attractions, plus visas, driving tests, passports, Global Entry, DMV and routine dental appointments. You can also suggest any other online booking. Request access for the category and location you need. We will launch with a focused set of supported sources, then expand. Coverage is not confirmed yet.
Will it keep checking when I close the app?
Yes, that is the planned experience. Your Watch will run on our service, so you will not need to leave your phone or browser open. Checking frequency will depend on each source. Live monitoring is not available during this request-access phase.
Can it book without asking me?
Only if you explicitly enable automatic booking for a supported source. The date, location, excluded days and price must all satisfy your saved rules. Otherwise, you review the match first. Some sources will require you to complete the booking yourself.
How much will it cost?
Requesting early access is free. You do not need a payment card. We will share monitoring prices and any optional booking fees before you decide to use the product. Appointment-provider fees will be separate.
Will it work with every booking website?
Not at launch. Our ambition is to help with anything you can book online, but each source needs its own integration. We will show you what is supported before you start a Watch. Providers control availability, and we cannot guarantee that a slot will open or remain available.
Will there be a connection for AI assistants?
A remote MCP connection is planned for later. The standalone app comes first, and you will not need ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant to use it. There is no MCP connection or directory listing available yet.
